Went to Kentucky for the 4th of July weekend. I went to the aquarium on Newport on the Levee, and bought tickets to this special ticket show where they LET YOU PET THE PENGUINS!!!! I GOT TO PET A PENGUIN AND IT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER! These penguins looked like this: [link] It was so cute. There were three of them. They were African penguins that live on the very southern tip of Africa in a place called Cape Town.(I think) They are an endangered species ... The penguins at the aquarium were named after the American Idol judges.

I also saw a fireworks show that was held by the purple people bridge down there. It was really cool, but there was no wind, so the smoke kind of hid some of the fireworks.

I also got to see the new Indiana Jones movie (and Wall.E) It was a lot better than I thought it would be, since a lot of people I new that saw it hated it, so I didn't have very high expectations for it...

Anyways, next Thursday, I'm going to my grandma's cottage, up in Cape Cod, so I guess that'll be fun.
